René Jules Lalique (6 April 1860, 1 May 1945, Paris) was a French glass designer known for his creations of glass art, perfume bottles, vases, jewelry, chandeliers, clocks and automobile hood ornaments.
There is no finer name in crystal than Lalique. I am offering this piece called the Dampierre vase for sale at about half of what it is being sold at in the retail stores. I believe this vase was designed in 1930 and is still being produced today.
The design is darling sparrows alternating with vines around this uniquely shaped crystal vase. It is hand crafted in France.
I did have two of these gorgeous vases and have sold one so this is the last one I have. Price is for one.
The Lalique signature is engraved on the bottom but does not show up in a photograph.
The vase is in perfect condition. No chips, no cracks it looks brand new. it is from my own personal collection. It will be packed very carefully so as to arrive in the same condition as it leaves.
It measures 4.69"Dia. x 4.92"T.
This is a treasure to own.
