Ocassionally I come across some of these rare French grain sacks. They used to be plentiful but today are rather hard to find. This one is in exceptionally good condition, no holes or patches and very clean.
The sacks were commonly used to carry various things from the farm to the place where the product was made into something.
Today they are mainly used as wall hangings, or you could use them for cushions or upholstery fabric.
This one is special.
It measures 45 inches long by 24 inches wide.
I have photographed the front and the back.
