This set is absolutely beautiful and is in wonderful condition.
The color of the trim is more pink than some of the photos show.
It consists of 57 pieces, 31 dinner plates (9.5 inches), 13 dessert plates (8.5 inches) , 6 soup/pasta bowls(9.5 inches), 2 small plates,
(8 inches) one sauce boat, one sauce bowl with a hole for a spoon, one covered vegetable dish, one large tureen, one tazza or pedestal dish.
What a grand table this would set.
It is rare and unique to find such an old set in such great condition.
Sarreguemines is a very prestigious maker of French dishes. Nicolas-Henri Jacobi along with his two partners established the first factory in 1790. It is still one of the premier makers of faience and porcelain dishes.
I hope you will love these dishes as much as I do.
